DOT Production’s staging of “Northanger Abbey” is at Willow Cottage this Saturday p.m.

A timely reminder that the first of this season’s shows is at the Cottage this Saturday afternoon.

One of our regular visiting groups, DOT Productions, is staging their version of Jane Austen’ novel.

From DOT’s website (http://www.dot-productions.co.uk/home/4541922553 ) :

Young Catherine enters into the busy society of Bath, meeting new friends and possible suitors. She is invited to visit the Gothic and mysterious home of General Tilney; Northanger Abbey. Whilst there she becomes fixated by the tale of his late wife and imagines how she came to her demise.

Are her new friends all they seem? And is the General hiding a dark secret?

Using only 6 actors we will bring Jane Austen’s novel to life in this comedic adaptation by Bryan Johnston.

PLEASE NOTE that there will be ONLY ONE show, at 3 p.m. on Saturday 11th July.

Tickets £10 in advance, £12 on the day, £8 children under 14.

We’re expecting fine weather, so make an afternoon of it – bring a picnic and enjoy the show!
